Dr Clemens Chaskel

Clemens works at the intersection of strategic technology management, innovation practice and roadmapping systems.

Practice and research

Clemens is an Industrial Associate affiliated with IfM Engage, part of the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge. IfM Engage describes Industrial Associates as affiliated independent experts experienced in delivering projects with IfM tools and approaches. He has worked with the IfM since 2010 and supports organisations in innovation management and strategic planning.

His work focuses on strategic technology and innovation management. This includes helping organisations make dependencies visible, improve the transparency of innovation decisions, examine emerging technologies and business models, and make better-founded portfolio choices.

His background combines academic research, industry, consultancy, teaching and product development. He has 15+ years of roadmapping experience and supports organisations in Europe and internationally.
