Privacy information for guide downloads

Who is responsible?

What we collect and why

We collect your email address, organisation if supplied, the guide version, request time, referring campaign label and whether you request a conversation. We send you one email with the requested guide and record fulfilment. Processing necessary to fulfil your request is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you separately ask us to discuss roadmapping, we use the details to respond to that request. We do not add you to a newsletter or send marketing emails because you downloaded a guide.

An email address is required for the download request; an organisation and a conversation request are optional. Technical request information is used to protect the form from abuse, based on our legitimate interest in securing this service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you.

We record the request date and guide version to manage fulfilment, and campaign platform, campaign and creative labels to understand which published guide link was used. We do not include ad-platform click identifiers or search terms in this request record. This limited record-keeping is based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating and evaluating our guide service. It is not used to profile you or enrol you in marketing.

Providers and international transfers

Vercel hosts the website and verifies requests using BotID. Resend sends your requested guide and delivers a request record to our hello@innovationflow.app mailbox, hosted through Microsoft 365. These providers process data for their respective hosting, security and email services. Resend processes data primarily in the United States; Vercel and Microsoft may also process data outside the EEA. Their data-processing terms provide international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable: Resend, Vercel and Microsoft. You may request information about these safeguards from gdpr@innovationflow.app. Our general privacy information also explains website processing. How long we keep it

We review download request records and delete them within 90 days unless you have asked for an ongoing conversation or a legal obligation requires retention. Active enquiries are retained for the duration of the enquiry and then reviewed for deletion. We retain no copy of the email address in the browser after you leave the page.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact gdpr@innovationflow.app. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
